Oh you know, just kissing on this little one...
Waiting on the ice cream man to pay us a visit one Sunday night. Maddie can hear his truck singing its song from a block away and she gets excited (so does her Mama and Daddy!)
What you call a "Seda Sandwich"
Maddie loves saying her name now...When you ask her her name, she yells out "Maddie Seda!" I am "Mommy Seda" and Robert is "Daddy Seda".
Headed to school one AM. She also knows the name of her school. When we see it as we pull in each AM, she should "Primrose!"
My Sunday Cuties.
What to do when you have a 2 year old that wakes the same time as you and you need to wash/dry your hair...let her hang out in the tub with Boo. Hey, it worked! (This was her choice of PJs for the night, haha)
Well, we are going to try and avoid too many ice cream sundaes for now. We tried Hello Fresh this past week. Here is a rendition. Robert did it all by himself along with juggling Maddie before I got home, I was impressed! It was pretty good, too. It just takes a little while to prep...and clean up. So we will see if we keep it up. But was nice for a little change.
Maddie LOVES to cuddle. When we all get home at night, she gathers us up and points to our room saying "Cuddle! I mean, really, this child is after my own heart.
She also likes to "HIDE!" Where is Maddie?!
She is sometimes like a little cat running underneath your legs...she just loves to snuggle. I know I don't mind (aka LOVE it), and by the looks of it, so does her Daddy.
Maddie is also very good at brushing her teeth. She has very good dexterity. I like to think she gets that from her Mama. ;)
September is also the month of birthdays!
September 1st -- we start the month off with a bang, it's Kaimi's birthday! She has always been my counterpart, clearly. Through every stage in life, it was made sweeter with my sister by my side. Maddie does not know the love of a sister, but I am thankful she has her as an aunt...and that she has a cousin who can fill in!
We haven't changed a bit, have we?!
We went home and had a joint birthday celebration (just like the good old days) and we did a lot of lazing.
Collin Bear got Papa's chair, you know he is special if he can claim that!
Birthday dinner at Mi Familia for all of the Escobar girls. Mom's birthday is coming up!
My Birthday flowers.
My nurse decorated my office at HEB for me.
One of my birthday gifts! I won't tell you how long it took us to hang it!
I think it looks pretty good!
This past weekend we enjoyed staying in our PJs as we enjoyed the sounds of rain hitting the roof. We were extra thankful for afternoon naps in the rain!
The sun came out quickly, and we were ready to enjoy it!
Just a little photo session. My little sunshine, truly. This smile brightens my life.
Sunday Pictures.
Yes, sometimes this kiddo has a mind of her own...and this is what we get when we ask her to smile...
...or when we ask us to show us her pretty teeth. Haha
There we go, that's a little better, kiddo!
Have a good week!
