A Thankful Heart

This year, I wanted to use November to focus on all the things we have to be thankful for in my life.  Each day I thought of things, big and small, that God has blessed me with.

I, of course, started the month off with FAMILY.

Below are pictures from our Family Photo session.  It was cold and rainy that day, but...we were thankful God brought rain to Texas (and for the fact that we escaped prior to the down pour!)  I am thankful that we each have warm homes to escape to...and for days that allow cuddles in our PJs by the fire with family.

I am thankful for these people and how they have so richly blessed my life through the years.  My heart rests here.

I am thankful for my little family of 3.

I am thankful for this little girl who brings so much light into my life.
I am thankful that God chose me to be her mommy.
I am thankful to be able to hear her giggles and see this BIG smile.
I am thankful for good health that allows games of hide and seek.

I am thankful for this little Daddy.
I am thankful that God has shown me that He will never leave me or our marriage.  I am thankful for a life with this man.
I am thankful for the Covingtons...not only family, but dear friends.

I am thankful to be an aunt to such three sweet little personalities.
I am thankful that Maddie has cousins to giggle with...

I am thankful for a Nana and Papa as good as my Mama and Daddy.

I am thankful for these little boys...our family was all BOWs and Frills before they came along and introduced us to a whole NEW world of dirt and guns!

I am thankful for a Mama who taught us how to be little Mamas.
I am thankful for a Daddy who has always made us feel like the prettiest girls in the world.
I am thankful for an unconditional love.
I am thankful for a man who loves my sister like she deserves to be loved.
I am thankful for a little girl for Maddie to love like a sister.

As November comes to an end, I will strive to continue to have a thankful heart.

"Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever".

Happy Halloween!

Halloween 2015 was a success...LOTS and LOTS of candy! :)

Our church had a trunk or treat, so Maddie got lots of practice before the big night.  She had "Trick or Treat" down let me tell you...the "Thank you" after the deposition of candy was a hit or miss.
Boo even got to attend, I mean, the big bad wolf!
Looks like Little Red Riding Hood doesn't mind the Wolf!

Where's Little Red Riding Hood?!

Peek a BOO!
Too excited for words.

 It was a good night!

Halloween at school.

On Halloween we went to spend the weekend with the Covington Crew...who better to trick or treat with than cousins?!
We have a Wolf and Little Red Riding Hood, a Dragon Fly, and a Viking Boy!

And they are off!
The LONE Wolf...well, and his Nana.

 Sweet little Dragon Fly.
Checking out the Loot.
The girls got to meet Belle!
 Sweet girls.
 The Crew.

We also celebrated Curt's 34th birthday!
Buffalo Wild Wings...it was his choice.  There were games on every TV, I guess what more could a birthday boy want?!
Me and my Collin Bear.  No one snuggle like he does!
We love our Uncle Curt!

Fall Randomness

Kisses for Daddy...
...and Tickles!

School Day Poses.  Yes, there are many...

Finally, fall weather hits, in November.

I think I know where Maddie learned her "CHEESE" from!
 Too cool for school.
She was very proud of herself, clearly.

Well, I will admit, when you are 5'2 and a half...and one tired Mama, I am not above crawling in the crib for a little shut eye.  Maddie loves it! Ha, I could be in trouble!
And Daddy caught it on camera ;)
Well, we lazy bones are out...until next time!
What, 6 weekend suntil Christmas?! :)
