October, oh, October. Each year, I feel like I have to give myself a pep talk prior to entering this month. You know, a "You can do this, girl!" type thing. Each year, I try and prepare myself for the wave of events, walks, talks, etc, and yet at the end, I always feel like I am lying on a track after sprinting a quarter. But, I made it. So I am behind in blogging...and laundry...and a lot else. But here is my attempt at catch up.
Cruising in Tom Thumb's new shopping baskets. It's always a hard choice for her on which one! Yes, it was sunny enough to wear sleeveless this year in October!
Bright eyed and bushy tailed on an early AM day to Primrose.
No matter how early I wake it seems, my shadow seems to know, and before long, I have some good help let me tell you.
Breakfast in bed...or in the bathtub, you know, whatever works.
More school days.
Yes, some days we have to get many babies ready!
Time to pull out our Halloween jammies (hey, last year's still fit, check!)
Morning jogs in the house.
Sunday Smiles.
Showing me how she puts her baby in a high chair at school.
Halloween Fun.
We had some friends over to decorate cookies and paint pumpkins, so much fun!
Back to school.
Halloween parade at school.
On the work side, I had something every weekend and atleast one week day/night per week, but I had lots of turn out to the events, so it was a good year to raise awareness and help fund the fight against breast cancer.
This year I saved up enought to buy my own tent sponsorhip and Making Strides, a big event in Arlington, it was a huge success.
Some of the team that came out from the office. I really appreciated it, we were all there for the better part of Saturday.
See, lots of people!
Then, on to Halloween. Robert and Matt made a life sized operation game for our small group's trunk for Trunk or Treat.
Maddie got to test it out. You know she is going to be a surgeon when she grows up, right?! ;)
What are fall days without a little ball in the backyard.
This girl has a pretty good eye for the ball! Maybe the dress gives her super powers.
Watching a little Bambi on a Saturday night.
Loving on Daddy.
Halloween 2016
Maddie came home this year saying she wanted to be a witch. "A witch?!" I replied, as I had other ideas. But that is what she wanted...turns out her best friend at school, Hazel, was going to be a witch, so a witch we were! A good witch!
Trunk or Treat 2016.
Makayla, Braydon and Maddie.
We won a prize for most original!
Hey, my costume was an easy thing to get!
School on Hallwoeen day, which fell on a Monday this year.
Halloween night. We were not able to go to Kami's given the Monday night time, but several homes had lights on in our neighborhood, so it turned out to be ok for a week night Halloween.
First thing she did when we got home, ha!
More school days.
and a little gymnastics...
And just like that, it's late November and almost ONE month until CHRISTMAS 2016!
