Vacation 2019
This year we went back to one of our favorite spots, Watercolor Resort in Seaside, Florida.
We always get a two bedroom condo there within a short walking distance to beach. We asked Nana and Papa if they wanted to go and they took us up on it! Maddie was excited...4 adults to watch her tricks! haha

Sunday we were out!
You know it is a successful vacation when the 3 questions are asked:
1. What time it is?
Can you believe this girl did no set an alarm while there and slept in with Maddie every day until about 8?!
2. Have you seen my phone?
It is nice to distance yourself from the world sometimes.
And Robert asked this question after jumping into the lazy river...with his phone...in his pocket. We didn't let that ruin our time though! Thank goodness for insurance :)
3. What day is it?
Ahhh, its nice tracking the days by the sunsets only.
Flight buddy. This lasted 5 minutes.
Then we were on to coloring and Go Fish. I hear that there are people that get to read a book on vacation...
First day and ready to hit the beach!
We dropped our bags and were out!
Talk about service.
Day 2. Monday.
Breakfast of champions. We needed lots of protein for a FULL day of sun and swimming ahead.
No seashell or minnow is safe with this little on one the beach.
Looking for prime realty.
We found it and got straight to work.
Maddie-land.
Minnow hunting. Those things are quick as Maddie girl.
A little Vitamin Sea is always good for the soul.
She never got tired of the sun and the beach.

It was a long, hot walk to our seats, but once we arrived, it was worth it...a nice cool ocean breeze made the walk worth it...and snacks, lots of snacks helped.

Headed to Seaside for dinner. We decided on Great Southern CAFE.

And waiting...got to catch Alice in Wonderland in the outdoors theatre. I think I see two people I know
And waiting, ha. Getting tired of site seeing here, ready to eat! But they called our names shortly thereafter! Our little hidden gem is becoming not so hidden!
No trip is complete without a stop in Duckies...and we thought this was perfect seeing as how Maddie's pet name for Papa is Duckie! haha This kid, where does she come up with this stuff?!
Day 3. Tuesday.
Someone was getting and AM nap! ...and Maddie wanted NOTHING to do with Fox News.
This day we headed to the newly built Camp Watercolor, a new waterpark just finished.

This night was a 5 minute wait!

Day 4.
Starting off the day with some reading and workbook work.

Dinner time! We had an interesting night waiting on food that never came, but we made do and went to eat on the sea walk.
Final stop at the Candy/Icecream Store!
More napping, a theme of our days :)
Last Day of the water and sun...we plan on making it a good one!

The last night we went seashell hunting AGAIN and got some more beauties for our collection.

We ordered pizza at Pizza by the Sea then came home and ate popsicles. I would say that was a good end to the day.

Ha, when she sits by Daddy she watches a movie! I finally got some reading done!
And that's a wrap...until next year. We got home and immediately unpacked and started laundry. We are officially unpacked and I have ordered back to school backpack and supplies, haha!
