Rock-a-bye Baby

Just days before Madelyn's 2 month birthday she gave us a nice gift of her own...she slept through the night!  I actually had to wake before she did to pump.  She went to bed at 8:30 pm and did not wake until 5:30 am. She is consistently sleeping for at least four hours at night, but to sleep the entire night, what a gift for two tired new parents!  I like to think it was that warm "glass of milk" she had before bedtime that did it. ;)

This is a picture of little one after she took her Saturday afternoon nap on my chest...you can still see little lines on her face -- oh, how I love those sweet little cheeks! This is Maddie's favorite position to sleep (when not sleeping on our chests).

How did we deserve this sweet, sweet child?  Even if it was just a fluke, I don't think I will have my feelings hurt...I missed my midnight cuddle time!  Nine hours is too long to go without loving on this little one.
