Valentine's Day Week...showing the love. Pink and read school days were our theme!
My silly girl.
These pictures are often blurry because she is moving so much!
I love my Valentine.
She wore this last year, too. I admit, it's more of a "bubble" this year, but I couldn't resist, I am still a sucker for smocking.
"Cheese!"
Checking out her Valentine's Day jewelry! I mean, a girl can never have enough jewelry, clearly. These were from her Abuelita and Abuelito.
Headed to her Valentine's Day party at school. Thanks Katie for the outfit!
What a Valentine's Day we had just about perfection. Girlfriend slept until 0900. That is pretty much the latest she has ever slept! Though we did not sleep past our usual, we did get to enjoy our coffee and the morning news!
Haha, somebody has bed head!
Playing with her new games from Nana and Papa!
Hmmm, I think I have a new cell phone in my work bag.
Headed to the zoo on this beautiful day...76 degrees. Have I said how much I LOVE Texas?!
Looking at the monkeys...Maddie always has such a serious look when she is trying to figure things out, clearly.
Blowing kisses to the turtles!
"Stroller are for babies!" This kiddo doesn't just walk, she runs! It has been years since I have been to the Fort Worth Zoo. It is amazing. We went pretty much as soon as the doors open, and boy are we glad that we did. We left around 2pm and the line at that point was literally over a mile long! Maddie LOVED it. She loved looking at the animals.
And she's off!
Giraffe time.
She loved to run around, but as more people came she was really good to hold our hands. She did so well. She is such a little delight to be with...what did we do without her?
We could hardly get her to smile yesterday, I think there was too much to look at other than the camera!
On the train headed out, despite this look, she LOVED it. She wanted to sit between us on her OWN seat, but she wanted to hold both of our hands. Oh, MELT.MY.HEART. Please never out grow holding my hand. I am praying she doesn't...I still love holding my mama's hand. Here's to hoping!
A day of perfection topped off with a night at the movies! We hadn't seen a movie in a year, so we got a sitter so we could watch American Sniper. We loved it because she came late enough that Maddie hardly missed we were gone since it was almost he bed time.
Well, it will be hard to top this day next year, for sure. Happy Valentine's Day! There is no doubt that LOVE truly is the greatest gift in the world.
