We love 3 day weekends around here! We had a fun-filled 3 day weekend. We met the Covington Crew at the Grapevine Mills Mall. Clearly, a lot of people had the same idea on that rainy weekend...it was PACKED. After a two hour wait to get into the Rainforest Café, we got in! We entered at 8:15...past just about everyone's bedtime! haha

We even saw Christie, Cruz, Alex, Landon, and Cole while walking in the mall, talk about a small world. It was a nice surprise!

Sunday AM breakfast with our favorites. Every time we have cousins over Maddie learns a new trick...now she is a big girl and likes to sit in a big girl chair. ;)

Time for small group, it was dry long enough to enjoy patio time...but still very muddy. The guys stringing up the piñata.
MOST of the kids loved the piñata...except Maddie, that girl! She wouldn't even take a swing...but move back when the candy fell, she was scrapping her way in with the best of them!

After the group left, we enjoyed a little PJ time.

On Memorial Day it was so wet we couldn't get out on the grass, but it was a perfect AM for BUBBLES! Yes, Maddie now picks out her own PJs.

Back to work after a three day weekend...NOOOOOO! Where's Maddie?!

Friday was not so good...poor baby, I'm afraid she caught my cold. This is the face Mama got when I suggested taking off her Peppa PJs...
Well, let's just say I pick my battles and on this Friday, I sent my child to school in her PJ top.
Here's to a good weekend ahead. The flash flood warning woke us this AM at 0500...but thankful for being warm/dry and having a good cup of coffee. Sounds like the perfect day for PJs to me!
