March Madness -- Life in March 2019

March kicks off with a bang each year, it's the mark of our Anniversary.  This year was 11 for us!
Ahhh, seems like only yesterday, but somehow, a so long ago.  Only 11 years, but I cannot imagine a life without him in it.
He still makes my heart flutter.
Last year we celebrated 10 back where it all started in Maui...seen here.  It was almost as amazing as the fist time.
This year was not quite as big of a celebration.  But even doing work on the patio in the early AM is enough for me.
Of course we celebrated that night at our favorite, Truluck's.  We took or favorite with us, of course, she's the best thing we ever did!

We even had someone to take our picture  for us :)

Robert can make a mean steak himself!
What month would be complete without crafting? This month we worked on painted rocks that now decorate our lawn.
 School and Church smiles/poses.

Still cold enough for big jackets outside.  That groundhog was wrong!

Church friends being silly (I think showing one if the one plagues)...can you guess which?
Monday was 50's day at school!

 Mondays are always long days...
 Or maybe all days ;)

How we love a good nap.
Cailyn's birthday party (a friend from Shady Grove).  Maddie had her party here last year and loved it!

In her element let me tell you.

 Now that's a Sunday Smile!
Big smiles when have Twinkies at church.

Lunch with our besties.

Softball...have yet to have true softball weather yet to play in!

Doing some shopping, just browsing getting some birthday ideas!  She said she wanted, "Anything from Target!"  Ha, a child after my own heart.

Sleepovers!  Taylor came over one Saturday night, they had the best time!

All fancy for a Saturday night.
But first they jumped off lots of energy!

Oh the rainy days of March.
I found this in their drawing area.  Haha, figured I might better save this for later use.  Notice, the tall one, aka, Daddy and/or Papa is ok :)
Finally a Saturday with SOME sunshine.  It seems like a winter that keeps on!

One night after a school event we walked past this and Madelyn asked, "Where is Iowa".  She then jumped on it and said, "I love Iowa!" Haha, she knows she was born there.  I told her yes, Iowa was very nice, but we are all Texans in the household ;)
My finished product from our time at the pottery place, I love it!
We finished off the month with a big win, Tech beat Gonzaga to head to the Final Four!  We elected to stay in to watch such a big event.
Proud of her new "play clothes" and of her clean room, which she did all by herself.
Madelyn was 1 of 3 Kindergartner's chosen to have her art work displayed at a local bank.

Here's what we have coming in first part of April!  She is so excited!
