Well, Corona Virus has hit the US and is climbing at rates similar to Italy who is now in critical shortage of medical supplies and personnel. With that being said, school and activities are shut down for another two weeks.
Here are some pictures from Madelyn's after school open house at Shady Grove on March 5, 2020 in which the first graders were asked to choose an influential leader and dress up like them and memorize/recite those facts in front of all visitors.

Her lines were...
"I am Madelyn Seda as Rosa Parks. Something about her is, she gave speeches about equality. One of quotes was, "You must never be fearful about what you are doing, as long as it is right." Also, she was very tiny but she had a very big heart"
We read a book about her for the presentation and these are the facts that Madelyn deemed important to say :). She also memorized all of it and recited it all from memory as opposed to reading it, which I was very proud of her for doing.

It was a great night, they all did so well! Looks like the world is destined to have a new group of influential leaders in the future :)
