HolidayHappenings

Have I mentioned that this is my favorite time of the year?!  A look into our life over the last couple of months.  Oh to put the holiday season in slow motion.
I had to start with a current favorite.  The best gift God ever gave me is right here.
This part of the year is very busy, which I am thankful for...but I sure do hate waking this little beauty up.

She tolerates it very well though!  We even have time to snap some pictures to send to Daddy, Nana and Papa most mornings.
She has gotten to where she likes taking pictures with me...how can I turn down this face?!
On this day, the only way I could get her to put on this coat was to go change into one that matched it...she loves being "twinkies!"

 Oh this smile.

 Silly Goose!
Heading out to the Primrose Christmas Party, at 0700 sharp, seeing as how Mama forgot she signed up for dip.  Morning run to Tom Thumb?, why yes, I think we will!
Maddie did great, she loved getting to ride in the cart and I found my special Sugar Free Peppermint Mocha Creamer that has become almost extinct!

Church Christmas Play.  What a difference one year makes!
Headed up to meet Santa!  She was literally yelling his name...
...until she got in his lap.  This was the best smile we got. :/

One more try.  Well, there is always next year.
She did LOVE the carriage ride.
This will be another tradition...site seeing in a horse drawn carriage.  She couldn't take her eyes off the lights and horses!

Helping Daddy get out the lights.
Wa-LA!
But this little thing is the most festive thing of all!

  Going to a PJ party!
 Building Gingerbread houses.

 Story time.
 Look at my little crazy.

Our precious Collin bear turned 3 this weekend, so of course we had to celebrate our BIG BOY!  We all went to the North Pole on the Grapevine Polar Express!

 All ABOARD!

We made it, walking in the SNOW to see Santa (yes, it is true, despite the fact that the first day of winter it is supposed to be 72 degrees!)

This picture just makes me happy looking at it!

Front Row seats to see Santa.

Headed home sipping on Sweet Chocolate Milk.
Poor Collin was having to share all of his birthday toys!  Poor boy, Maddie even "helped" him blow out his birthday candle at Olive Garden.  We made sure to create a wind block when we got home for his birthday cake.  He got all three taken care of, despite 3 other willing helpers.

I hope Collin knows how much we love him...especially his Aunt Nan! ;)
Tree up AND presents wrapped!  A week before Christmas, this could be a first for me!
 Who needs mistletoe?!
A new Seda tradition:  PJs, hot chocolate, cruising the neighborhood looking at the lights listening to Christmas songs.  This won't only be repeated yearly...maybe weekly until Christmas. :)
Headed to Christmas sevice.

Happy week before Christmas!

 My favorite decoration of all.
