Well, another Christmas has come and gone. I am so very thankful for the gifts I have been given, none of which can be wrapped and placed under a Christmas tree. With 2016 now in full swing I am going to work on having a thankful heart.
Christmas at our home.
Waiting on our little Snowflake to wake to start the festivities.
Love my little bed head.
About to walk into this!
Haha, this child wakes up I must say like her Nana and Daddy...a little slow to get going. It took her a few minutes to get "revved" up.
Thanks Nana and Papa!
Our little sure shot!
Yeah, we may be lacking in the height department, but she's a smarty and will improvise!
What is a Christmas without Peppa?!
Stocking time!
Just what we need, a tooth brush to help those little teeth after all that Christmas candy!
Present time! Maddie really improved her present opening skills this year.
A little water break.
An American Doll! This chica LOVES baby dolls.
A little help from Nana and Papa.
Maddie's gift to Nana. She has heard her Nana ask for it since July! :)
Daddy's turn!
Nothing like the gift of a Papa...
...and Nana.
She LOVED/LOVES her tent! This is her private area for she and her "friends" to catch up a good book. When we cannot find Maddie for a few minutes, we can find her chatting it up with her buddies in her tent.
Papa was her first guest.
Then, because Christmas is not Christmas without the Covingtons, we packed up (sans the car, tent and toys with a cagillion (yes, that is a word) parts) and made the trek to Heath to celebrate.
To prevent picture overload, come back for Christmas 2.0 and 3.0 to follow!
