Well, just a month or so behind on blogging. I know when you take off for vacation, you sure make up for it when you get back. But, we had such a good time while we were there.
We love Florida, it is a quick plane trip to white sands, clear water and cool breezes.
We headed back to our favorite, Watercolor, this year...this time with a couple of extras!
Headed to the airport
All boarded, first class. Talk about luck of the draw!
Food, CHECK; Movie, CHECK; Warm snuggly blanket, CHECK! We are ready for take off.
Yes, on first class we get some expensive chocolates, too. Huh, go figure, I am used to pretzels! This kid got her first first class seat pretty early in life!
Bahaha! No one sleeps around me without getting caught!
Made it with all bags intact.
A little nap in the car, travels are tiring. You know, those long 1.5 hour flights.
Beach ready!
Dinner time.
First sunset.
A quick before dark trip to beach
To say this kid loves the beach is an understatement.
Our first full day at the beach.
Waiting on the boys to go get us our loungers all set up! It is a rough life we lived there.

It was hard on Nana getting down to the beach, with the heat and the sand, but once we go there, under the shade gave her a little Vitamin Sea that I think was good for her soul. I didn't learn that in med school, but I am sure it is true.
Don't be fooled by the above, Maddie was not playing by herself long. We did our share of castle building and ocean swimming!
Daddy needed a break from the work of the castle building I guess.
Home to relax and nap from the heat of the day.
Dinner time.
We played hard...and slept hard let me tell you.
Back to the waters!
Dinner time, again! This was my favorite restaurant.
We love Duckies!
and ice cream by the beach.
Back to sleep we went.
And so our days went. Wake, water, nap, relax, eat. Ha, what a way to spend a vacation if I don't say so myself.
Nana was able to get in to cool off a little bit.
A little swim practice.
This girl slept well while there.
You got it, waiting on dinner time!
Nana had some good help in the kitchen.
Vacation 2018. That about wraps it up.
Where did the time go?!
Summer 2017, same place
