Whew, what an April!  I feel like I have just come up for air.  It has been a busy, but fun, month let me tell you.
This Mama did her best to grab some pictures this month much less blog!
This year Maddie had her first party where we invited people beyond family . I honestly wanted to hold out one more year, but she had different ideas.  Though family always is the top of her invite list, no doubt!
She wanted a Princess Party and she chose Elsa as her guest of honor.  This girl LOVES her princesses.
My favorite Princess.
Get ready for picture overload...can we say teal and purple overload?!
Some shots before the guests arrived.
This may have been Maddie's favorite thing of the whole party.  She LOVED getting the "goooo-dy bags" ready for her friends.
 Our guest of honor.
I was thinking of not having people bring gifts, it's not like this kiddo needs any more toys.  Yep, Maddie nixed that idea quickly.  Let's just say we are still working on the idea of empathy and sharing.  And...she has successfully parted with one current toy to make room for the below.
The table...minus the TEAL punch. It was a beautiful day...but very windy!
Her cake, courtesy of Tom Thumb, not bad right?!
 Sweet Treats.
Maddie's favorite guests...they haven't missed a party yet!
Yes, all similar pictures, but I love the little smiles/giggles/smirks scattered though each too much to delete a picture!  Oh, the benefits of being editor in chief of a blog ;)
We could not forget two other very important guests of honor.  Let's just say the week before the party she may have changed her mind and only wanted the below to come, ha!  That kid!
Nana even had one of her best days since her treatments started that day.
We all thank God for his blessings.
 The Girls.
And that's the most of Nana's face we ever got in this group, ha, we girls and our love of big bows!
 I rest my case.
 Our little pod.
Abuelita and Abuelito made it to the party, too!
And Titi Christie.  She made cute little wands and tiaras for all the guests!
  The Birthday Girl.
 How old are you?!
 Some party shots.
Friends from church.
We love the Alonzos, like a second family.
Maddie and her best friend from school, Hazel.
 Getting ready for a craft!
Oh you know, chatting it up with Elsa.
 Playing games with Elsa.
Mika and Corina.  Mika works with me in the OR, we spend a lot of time together, she's like family now!
Pictures with some Princesses.  Never a good idea to tell the girls to say, "Olaf!" Maddie was not listening I guess. ;)
  Face painting time!
Balloon animals!  A kitty cat seemed to be her specialty.
 Story time!
She even sang our favorite song, "Let It Go!"
 Cake time!
These two are inseparable at Primrose I hear.  Hazel has a birthday coming up, too!
Oh to capture this sweet age.  I think each year only gets sweeter and sweeter.
A little help blowing out the candles.
Getting a special note from Elsa.
Whew, with all that it was time to eat cake!
Poor Will.  Let's just say he is about as boy as a boy can get...and a Princess party was likely the last place he wanted to spend his Saturday.  But he sure was a sport.  And no party would be complete without or dear Will!
That big cake and this girl chose ice cream and "spinkles"...but they were snowflake sprinkles, who could resist those?!
Saying good bye, Elsa had to get back to Arindale.
I did not think Maddie would want to open her gifts in front of everyone since she tends to get timid in front of a crowd...yep, she showed me!
She had some good help. let's just say she has always helped her cousins, she definitely owed them!
Ok, I'll be honest, I never cared (hated) Barbies growing up...and now, in my mid thirties I am playing with them daily. :(  Ha, karma.
 Time. Of. Her. Life.
Cruising in her new wheels.
Yep, this is how we all felt after the crowd left!
My favorite Princess of all.
Elsa and Ana...two peas in a pod right here.
 Maddie and Titi Christie.
What is a Princess party without a Prince?
Maddie has a lot of real Princes in her life for sure!
To the apple of our eye.  You have completed our little family.
Happy 4th Birthday our angel, we love you more than words could say.
