It's beginning to look a lot like summer!

July has been such a blessing.  To think, one month off with my little angel.  I am trying to savor every second of every day knowing that I may never have one entire month off alone with this bundle of sweetness.  So, while our nights are usually busy unpacking the house once she has gone to bed, our days are full of playing, reading books, taking strolls, and of course, lots and of lots of cuddling!

4th of July Fun
We had planned to have everyone over to our new house 4th of July weekend...but the curse had just come upon us!  No AC and no hot water was not going to work for a house full of guests.  Thankfully, Kaimi is the ultimate little hostess so we decided to move the party over to their new house at the last minute.  We had so much fun!   We are sad we are not any closer to their family, but we made it there in about an hour, which is not bad for Dallas traffic!  Family, food, and firecrackers, what else could you want?

We love our little firecracker!
She is the laugher in my life.
Maddie is waving to the camera!
Well, we could not get her to let go of her pen...one of her absolute favorite toys at the moment.  Some days, we take what we can get!
After July 4th they took me to one of my favorite restaurants, Red Lobster, to celebrate the completion of my fellowship.  I love my little family...I know my journey to where I am has been very long, but it was these faces that helped me through every step of the way.

Will didn't want to stand by us anymore...but I love that big smile he still has!
Look at these two...double trouble that is for sure!

Ready for her 15 month appointment.  Unfortunately, most pictures are blurry because this girl is on the go!

Bye-Bye!  That little ruffle bobo gets me everytime!

Oh my, when did she get so big?!
She loves this blanket, she just rubs her face up against it!
Closest thing I got to a smile, I'll take it!

 This girl is into EVERYTHING...
We bought Maddie a little pool, she was not too fond of her cousin's pool, so we were slowly working her into it!
About ready for prime time!  Love this little swimsuit Aunt K got Maddie...Katie has a matching one, too!
Starting to warm up to the sunglasses...not so much to her hat.

Well, this is as close to her looking at the camera as I could get...she was so excited!
 My cool cat.
And...she LOVED it!  Yes, she also liked splashing mama, too. :)  Both of us girls needed a little sun!  I went to the doctor and I had low Vitamin D, go figure.  I guess the OR lights don't give you the vitamin D the sun does!  We will work on that this month! :)

Yes, she could not get enough of splashing.  Haha, she does not like to be the Splash-ee, she can only be the Splash-er that is for sure!
I think she learned this from her Cousin Collin, she was guzzling water like there was no tomorrow.
Yes, I realize this bowl is a pathetic excuse for a swim toy...I will get more now that I know baby girl likes the water!

I guess her hat makes a good swim toy, too.  Oh, that girl!

I hear my little angel stirring from her nap...it's time to go play again!
