March Showers...
Bring April flowers!
We have always been blessed with such sweet and thoughtful friends and family.  As testament to this, we had three baby showers!  The first was in Comanche at my Aunt Vickie's new home in Comanche.  It was just perfect.  It was so nice to go home and see the people I grew up with; it had been much too long.  My second shower was in Iowa with the girls of my residency program.  We have now been in Iowa for five years...these are the girls that make this place our home away from home.  Our third shower was at the church.  We are so blessed to have such a warm, loving congregation to worship God with.  From the moment we visited, they welcomed us with open arms.  We will be sad to leave this congregation, but will forever be grateful for their Christ-like hearts.
Comanche Shower.
Here we are getting ready to head to the Comanche shower.  Just us girls...all FIVE of us! ;)
The wreath my mom made for Maddie...so sweet!  We hung it outside her door at the hospital and it now hangs in her room.  I love it, a breath of fresh air, just like my little Maddie.
The table...isn't it gorgeous?!
This dress form is in Maddie's room, too.  Can you tell I like pink and feathers?!  Looking back, you will see the same theme in my wedding pictures. :)
The food was as good as it looked.
Sweet Katie-belle...she looked like a little decoration herself, but much prettier!
 I love these girls...
Abuelito and Abuelita came from Oklahoma to the shower.
One of my favorite teachers of all time, dear Mrs. Northcutt.
Kayla, Lisa and I.  I can go forever without seeing these two, yet pick up like we just saw each other yesterday.
Abuela, Stella, and Dad.  I cannot wait until we are back in Texas so that we can see everyone more often!
 Kids everywhere, love it!
Judy and Debbie...growing up I spent lots of time at their houses, love these two as much as I do their daughters.
Sweet Granny and Kaimi, no telling what these two were talking about!
So good to see Kenda and Avery!
 Cruz, Robert...and Robert :)
Joyce and Shelia, two beautiful women, outside and inside.
Thanks to Kerry for helping with the shower...she and David outdid themselves with helping get the registry together.
Poor Maddie, won't have anything to wear...
My sweet sister, what would I do without her?  She put most of my registry together...I was clueless!
Kate is checking out the goods for us.
 More stuff...
Katie and Nana, love these two.
Bows and more bows from Will and Kate...Maddie will be decked out!
Pretty girls...
 The Hostesses.
Surrounded with the girls I love...
Gotta love those boys, too!  We missed having Curt and Collin...Curt was on baby duty that day though.
 Sweet cousin Diana.
 Silly girls.
 Never a dull moment here.
 The Sedas.
My dear mama and daddy...I pray to God each night I am half the parent they have been for me.

Allie and Darla...the pharmacists of the group, they keep us residents in line!

Sweet Sarah, what would I do without her...here's to praying I can talk her in to moving to Dallas once she is done to join a practice with me!
Sarah and Kristina outdid themselves on the shower!
 The Church Shower.
It was a cold, snowy day, but these sweet girls made their appearance!

 Group pictures.

So thankful that both showers were on the same weekend so Mom could be at both!
 The Hostesses.
We were truly showered with love before Madelyn came.  We got clothes, diapers, bows, toys, you name it...but nothing compares to the love of friends and family.  We are so blessed.
